AT A GLANCE
- The public playground is free to try during the beta.
- You keep your rights in the content you submit.
- Validate model results before putting them into action.
- Use the API within its access rules and published limits.
01 About these terms
These terms apply to the website, documentation, playground and API provided by Vansa.org ("Vansa", "we" or "us"), a non-commercial organisation operating from Lithuania. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into an agreement. If you use Vansa for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act for it. A separate written agreement with Vansa takes priority for any matter it specifically covers.
Our privacy policy explains how service data is processed. These terms do not replace a data-processing agreement where one is required.
02 Access & beta use
Vansa is a System One decision model. You provide context and questions; the API returns choices, scores or yes/no probabilities. Access lets you test the service and integrate it into software in line with these terms and the documentation.
The public playground currently includes a shared demo credential and is free to try. That credential is intended for the playground. It does not guarantee dedicated capacity, unlimited requests or continuing access. Request your own key for an application or ongoing integration.
Keep personal API keys secure and tell us if one is exposed. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your keys. Access limits, available models and features may change during the beta. Paid services, if introduced, will require separate pricing terms; trying the free playground does not authorise a charge.
03 Your content & results
You keep any rights you hold in the context, questions and other content you submit. You give Vansa permission to process that content to fulfil your requests and operate the service as described in our privacy policy. This permission does not transfer ownership to us.
You may use the returned results in your application, subject to these terms and applicable law. We do not claim ownership of your results. Other users may receive similar or identical answers, and a model result does not establish that third-party rights have been cleared.
Only send content you are entitled to use and share. You are responsible for any necessary notices, permissions and legal basis for personal data. Use sample or de-identified information in the public playground; contact us before submitting data that requires specific contractual, security or residency arrangements.
04 Responsible use
A probability or score is a model estimate, not a guarantee. Results can be wrong, incomplete or sensitive to wording and context. Evaluate Vansa on your own use case, choose suitable thresholds and provide a way to review or correct consequential outcomes.
You are responsible for decisions and actions taken by software you build with Vansa. Do not rely on the service alone for decisions affecting a person's legal rights, health, safety, employment, credit or access to essential services. Use the safeguards and human review required for your application and by law.
The service does not provide professional medical, legal or financial advice. Published examples and benchmarks do not promise the same performance on your data.
05 Acceptable use
You must not use Vansa to:
- Break the law or infringe privacy, intellectual property or other rights.
- Access another person's credentials, data or administrative functions without permission.
- Bypass access controls or limits, overload the service, distribute malware or disrupt other users.
- Misrepresent Vansa's results as guaranteed facts or claim an endorsement we have not given.
Automated requests through the documented API are allowed within the access granted to you. If you discover a vulnerability, report it to [email protected] without accessing others' data or disrupting the service.
06 Vansa's materials
Vansa and its licensors retain their rights in the service, software, model assets, website design and branding. API access does not grant rights to our model weights or permission to represent your product as an official Vansa product.
You may use documentation and code examples to integrate the API, subject to any stated licence. Third-party and open-source materials remain governed by their own licences. Feedback is welcome; we may use suggestions you voluntarily provide to improve Vansa, without taking ownership of your submitted application content.
07 Availability & liability
The beta is provided as available, without an agreed service level or a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free answers or fitness for a particular purpose. Plan for timeouts, unavailable models and changes in behaviour, and keep copies of information your application needs.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Vansa is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or business opportunity, arising from use of the beta. This does not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Any service levels or additional commitments must be agreed separately in writing.
08 Ending access
You can stop using Vansa at any time and contact us to revoke a personal key. Clearing browser site data removes a saved playground draft and key; it does not automatically delete operational records held by Vansa.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security issue, a legal requirement or service capacity. We may also end a beta feature. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address a problem.
Stopping access does not remove rights or obligations that arose before it ended. Provisions about ownership, liability and disputes continue where relevant.
09 Law & disputes
These terms are governed by Lithuanian law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not take away mandatory protections or court-access rights available under the law that applies to you.
For a concern or dispute, contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve it. Any court proceedings must be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. These terms do not require private arbitration or waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
10 Changes & contact
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will publish the revised text and date here, and provide additional notice or seek agreement where required for a material change. Changes do not apply retrospectively to an existing dispute.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent allowed by law. Questions about access, these terms or a legal matter can be sent to the address below.
